The Company Principal

The company is helmed by Dato' Ramesh Rajaratnam, who is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He is also a Chartered Accountant (MIA) and a Certified Public Accountant (MICPA) with 30 years of experience in the advisory disciplines described earlier. Ramesh is also member of the Corporate Finance Faculty of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). In addition to these, he is a founding and a Board member of the Malaysian Mergers & Acquisitions Association (MMAA). Ramesh has also held several senior positions (CFO, CEO, Deputy Chairman, and Executive Chairman) in several private and public companies.

Ramesh joined the Taxation practice of Price Waterhouse in 1984. He was appointed Executive Director of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia in 1998 and elected the Leader of PwC’s Transaction Services Group. In 2005, he was also appointed Head of PwC’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Malaysia. Prior to obtaining his professional qualifications, Ramesh graduated from Raffles Junior College, earning his place there on an ASEAN Scholarship. He also pursued a post professional Taxation course at the Simon Fraser University in 1995. Ramesh did professional work stints in America, Canada, Europe and Asia.

In addition to running a business consulting practice, he is an adviser to companies involved in bio-technology, waste management, dairy farming and consumer services. Over the years, besides speaking in numerous conferences, Ramesh has also had several of his thoughts on Finance and Business published in the mass media and professional journals.
